The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of VICE PRESIDENT BRAND MARKETING at its Head Office based in Mauritius.


As Vice President - Brand Marketing, you will define and elevate The Lux Collective (TLC) brand portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals. Leading brand strategy, you will leverage consumer insights and market trends to strengthen relevance and competitiveness. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will maintain brand consistency and drive growth. This role demands strategic leadership and deep brand expertise. The incumbent will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be based at the headquarters in Mauritius.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Create and implement a cohesive brand strategy that aligns with TLC’s vision and objectives.
  • Lead rebranding initiatives to ensure our portfolio of brands remains fresh and engaging, reflecting the evolving expectations of our guests and market trends.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms to ensure a strong and consistent brand message.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences, informing strategic decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.
  • Build strong relationships with luxury brands, influencers, and media to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Work closely with the VP Brand Performance and operational teams to ensure that the guest experience aligns
  • with brand values and marketing efforts.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI) on all marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, using insights to optimise strategies and report results to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience within the luxury hospitality sector or a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successful brand building and management, with experience leading rebranding efforts.
  • Employer Branding expertise will be a definite advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with a deep understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and market trends
