We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Specialist NEM to join our dynamic sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to grow their career in the premium travel sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing new market opportunities, spreading product knowledge & brand advocacy, providing essential support to our existing sales channels, contributing directly to our growth in key regions.

Key Accountabilities

* Research and identify new potential distribution partners (e.g., high-end travel agencies, concierge services, private client advisors) in underdeveloped or emerging markets;
* Assist in developing and executing strategies to penetrate and grow sales in newly identified markets;
* Support the creation of tailored sales presentations and materials for new business;
* Participate in initial outreach and follow-up activities with prospective partners, under the guidance of senior sales team members;
* Provide dedicated administrative and operational support to existing sales distribution partners (e.g., travel agencies, tour operators);
* Assist with day-to-day sales inquiries, booking support, and problem resolution for our partners;
* Help prepare sales reports, presentations, and market analysis for internal and external stakeholders;
* Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate partner information and sales activities;
* Support the coordination of sales training sessions and familiarization trips for partners;
* Act as a point of contact for routine communications with partners, ensuring timely and professional responses.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of our brand, product offerings, itineraries, unique selling propositions, and target audience;
* Represent the brand professionally and passionately in all interactions.

Qualifications (skills, competencies, experience)

* 1/2 years of experience in sales, account management, or sales support, preferably within travel, hospitality, or a related service-oriented industry;
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
* A strong interest in and passion for the cruise industry;
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
* Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop sales skills;
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
* Ability to travel 50% of the time as required for market development or sales support activities.

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!

With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.

In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.

In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.

Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.

This massive project is already well under way. The Human Resources Team is not only working to recruit the best talents but is also visiting our manning agencies and hiring partners around the world to ensure that the right people and facilities are in place to prepare this ‘army’ of new crew members for their life at sea.
