Where passion meets opportunity

The best of your adventures is the one you have yet to sail!

Your Purpose

MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest and fastest-growing cruise line brand, is expanding its eCommerce Analytics team in the USA. Reporting to the Director of eCommerce Testing & Analytics, the Data Analyst will be responsible for owning eCommerce tracking plans and ensuring data quality through release cycles, building data pipelines to automate monitoring of eCommerce KPIs, and delivering actionable eCommerce product and commercial performance insights to teams within the larger Marketing and eCommerce groups.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the office, in Miami.

Position Overview
We are looking for a builder-not just someone who runs reports or polishes dashboards and decks, but someone who can connect dots, surface insights, and shape the systems that drive growth. As the sole Data Analyst on the eCommerce Testing and Analytics team, you will have influence on the full life cycle of eCommerce data collection and insight delivery. You will create data tagging plans, design and own our reporting infrastructure, structure collected data into actionable insights, and use these insights to deliver data driven recommendations that will maximize web revenue and web user satisfaction. You'll partner directly with the Director of Testing and Analytics and work closely with the eCommerce product team to surface eCommerce product performance drivers and deliver insights that will unlock the next level of eCommerce product optimization. You'll also help shape how we integrate AI and predictive analytics as our systems evolve.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical chops, technical fluency, and a bias for execution. If you love organizing complexity, automating the painful stuff, and turning insights into impact-this role is for you.

Your Impact

* Own the end-to-end eCommerce data tracking plan and partner with HQ tagging and web development teams to ensuring all user events and transactions are instrumented accurately and validated through each release cycle.
* Build and maintain automated data pipelines that monitor key eCommerce KPIs-site traffic, conversion rates, average order value, cart abandonment-and alert the team to trends or anomalies in real time.
* Structure raw web and transaction data into clear, actionable insights; deliver regular and ad-hoc analyses that guide marketing, product, and commercial decisions.
* Partner with the Director of Testing & Analytics and the eCommerce product team to define measurement requirements, map user journeys, and surface product performance drivers.
* Design and enhance self-serve reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), translating stakeholder needs into intuitive dashboards with robust business logic and usability in mind.
* Ensure data integrity and trust by auditing tracking implementations, troubleshooting discrepancies, and collaborating with engineering to resolve issues.
* Craft and deliver presentations to team executives detailing changing web behavior trends and opportunities to optimize the web experience.
* Identify opportunities to integrate AI and predictive analytics-such as personalization engines, propensity models, and dynamic pricing-and help roadmap the tools and data required to support them.

Your Journey so far

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or 4+ years related experience.
* 3-6 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years owning dashboards and reporting in a business setting.
* Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with data wrangling, analysis, and light scripting.
* Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
* Familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
* Working experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
* General knowledge of A/B testing tools such as A/B Tasty, Optimizely, or Adobe Target.
* General understanding of web development as it relates to web tagging and analytics. General knowledge of tools such as GTM and Adobe Launch as they relate to tag implementation and management.
* Strong communication skills-able to explain data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize ruthlessly, and move fast with limited oversight.
* Experience working with ecommerce, revenue, or consumer-facing data preferred.
* Fluent in English (additional languages beneficial).
* Willingness to travel occasionally to corporate headquarters in Geneva and to operational locations, as needed.

Your Essentials

* US Passport or US Permanent Resident
* MSC Cruises is an e-verify employer

La empresa

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!

With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.

In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.

In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.

Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.

This massive project is already well under way. The Human Resources Team is not only working to recruit the best talents but is also visiting our manning agencies and hiring partners around the world to ensure that the right people and facilities are in place to prepare this ‘army’ of new crew members for their life at sea.

We need motivated and ambitious crew members who work with passion and understand the value of a smile.

Join our team and see how much you can grow!
