What You'll Do
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the Ground Floor outlets at Hotel Indigo. This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, driving financial performance, leading marketing activations, menu rollouts, and managing a large, diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong multi-outlet management background, excellent financial acumen, and a passion for innovation and service excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of all Ground Floor food and beverage outlets, ensuring service excellence, efficiency, and brand standards.
* Lead, inspire, and manage a team of over 50+ front-of-house and back-of-house staff across multiple concepts.
* Partner with the culinary team to develop and execute new menu launches, ensuring timely rollouts and seamless operational transitions.
* Work closely with the Assistant Director of F&B to align strategies with hotel-wide initiatives.
* Develop, monitor, and manage outlet budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
* Maintain strict controls over operational costs, labor costs, and inventory management.
* Implement strategies to maximize revenue opportunities and control expenses without compromising guest experience.
* Collaborate with the hotel marketing team to conceptualize, plan, and execute innovative marketing activations and F&B promotions to drive guest engagement and revenue.
* Act as a brand ambassador for Hotel Indigo's unique ethos, ensuring all activations reflect the hotel's creative and local spirit.
* Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing team members, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and excellence.
* Design and implement ongoing training programs for all team members, focusing on service standards, upselling techniques, and product knowledge.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions to support career development and succession planning.
* Maintain a strong and visible presence on the floor during peak periods, ensuring consistent guest satisfaction.
* Actively manage guest feedback, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest loyalty.
* Ensure full compliance with local health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and hotel policies.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of outlets to maintain quality, hygiene, and service standards.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:
* Proficient in computer systems relevant to food and beverage operations.
* Experience with POS configuration and system setup.
* Flexible working hours - must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a food and beverage leadership role within a high-volume, multi-outlet environment.
* Proven track record of successfully launching new menus and leading impactful marketing activations.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and cost controls.
* Experience managing large teams (50+ team members) with demonstrated leadership, training, and team-building capabilities.
* Creative thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hospitality degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
