The Role of the Director of SpaThe Director of Spa & Wellness at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh is a visionary and strategic leader responsible for overseeing the operation, innovation, and guest experience of the hotel’s luxury spa and wellness programs. This individual ensures excellence in service, drives financial success, mentors a high-performing team, and positions the spa as a market leader in holistic well-being in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Main Tasks and Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse spa and wellness team, promoting excellence and alignment with Four Seasons’ service culture.
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the spa, aligned with global wellness trends and regional market needs.
  • Represent the spa in executive leadership meetings and collaborate across departments to integrate wellness into the overall guest journey.
Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure day-to-day operations meet brand standards and local health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain world-class cleanliness, ambiance, and functionality of spa facilities in coordination with Engineering and Housekeeping.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, risk assessments, and operational reviews to uphold a five-star experience.

Team Development
  • Partner with Learning & Development to provide continuous training, coaching, and development for therapists, attendants, and wellness practitioners.
  • Oversee recruitment and retention of top-tier talent, including specialists in massage therapy, holistic practices, and aesthetics
Guest Experience & Personalization
  • Engage with VIPs and regular guests to ensure customized wellness journeys and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Champion the creation of bespoke experiences, signature rituals, and integrated wellness solutions across the property.

Financial Management
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
  • Drive revenue through innovative spa packages, memberships, service upgrades, and retail sales strategies.
  • Monitor inventory, payroll, and expense controls to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.

Marketing & Brand Presence
  • Collaborate with Marketing and PR to craft targeted campaigns promoting spa offerings and wellness initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador locally and internationally, enhancing the profile of Four Seasons Riyadh as a wellness destination.

Innovation & Trends
  • Stay abreast of wellness trends including holistic therapies, wellness tech, lifestyle medicine, and alternative treatments.
  • Curate forward-thinking spa menus and retail offerings tailored to guest needs in the Riyadh market.
  • Guide decisions on product partnerships, wellness collaborations, and programming initiatives.
