About the location:

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the role

We are currently looking for a Security Coordinator to join our Security Department at the iconic Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens.

As a Security Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, secure, and smoothly operating environment for our guests, employees, and property. You will be responsible for managing access control, overseeing security systems, coordinating emergency procedures, and ensuring that all protocols are followed in line with our high standards.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, update, and implement emergency and fire procedures, ensuring all staff are fully informed and trained.
• Manage access control systems, including key fobs, access cards, visitor management, and vehicle registration.
• Oversee CCTV systems, security alarms, and other surveillance equipment.
• Monitor the schedules and daily operations of the Security and Guest Services teams.
• Report and document all incidents, accidents, and medical emergencies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal support groups for office and facility management needs.
• Provide a friendly, professional service that consistently exceeds guest expectations.
• Conduct and attend regular training sessions on safety and emergency procedures.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a security or coordination role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong understanding of emergency procedures, fire safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with security systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Professional appearance and commitment to high standards of service.
• Flexibility to undertake various duties within the scope of the role.
