Job Description

• Provide basic First Aid and medical care to staff and guests, responding swiftly to emergencies
• Conduct health and safety inspections, reporting any hazards or hygiene issues
• Liaise with the Ministry of Health for food handler tests and expatriate staff medical certifications
• Manage medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability at all times
• Maintain accurate medical records and produce relevant periodic reports
• Administer and advise on Medical and Personal Accident Schemes for staff
• Assist in staff induction process and provide First Aid training to employees
• Attend and act as First Aider in staff welfare activities
• Collaborate with resort management to ensure a safe and healthy environment
• Educate guests and staff on health-related matters, including tropical disease prevention
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements :

• Must be a Seychellois national
• Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in nursing or health related fields
• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid nursing licence in Seychelles
• Previous experience as a nurse, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting
• Strong medical assessment and treatment skills
• Excellent emergency response abilities
• Thorough knowledge of resort health and safety protocols
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Proficiency in English and Creole languages
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
• Understanding of tropical diseases and common tourist health issues
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to adapt to the dynamic nature of a resort environment
