Citadines Canal Amsterdam is op zoek naar enthousiaste Food & Beverage Assistant om het nieuwste vlaggenschip van the Ascott Limited te  komen versterken!

Onze Citazens, het personeel van Citadines, vormen het hart van het historische erfgoedpand met 93 kamers, een fitnessruimte en een gastenlounge (met eten en drinken) binnen het gebouw.

In de functie van Food & Beverage Assistant ben je betrokken bij en verantwoordelijk voor:

• Ondersteunen bij onze ontbijtservice, de honesty bar en het Grab & Go-aanbod
• Het leveren van de verwachte service en normen aan onze gasten tijdens je diensten
• Kennis hebben van gezondheids- en veiligheidsprocedures
• Het onderhouden van de ontbijtruimte en het buffet tijdens elke dienst, ervoor zorgen dat alles er netjes en opgeruimd uitziet zodat onze gasten kunnen genieten van het begin van hun ochtend
• Ervoor zorgen dat de ontbijtruimte schoon en netjes wordt gehouden en dat de schoonmaakgegevens dagelijks worden bijgewerkt

Om succesvol te zijn als Food & Beverage Assistant moet je:

• Eerder opgedane ervaring is een voordeel, maar een enthousiaste en leergierige houding is veel belangrijker
• flexibel zijn om ochtenddiensten te draaien in een roterend 7-dagen patroon (inclusief weekenden)
• Een enthousiaste en servicegerichte benadering van je werk hebben
• Effectieve communicatieve vaardigheden in geschreven en gesproken Nederlands en Engels
• Zelfstandig en in teamverband kunnen werken.
• Als je kennis hebt van HACCP of Allergenen is dat een pré

Citadines Canal Amsterdam is looking for an enthusiastic, curious and inventive Food & Beverage Assistant to join the Ascott Limited’s newest flagship in Europe!

Our Citazens, being the staff of Citadines, stand at the heart of the historic and heritage property that has 93 rooms, gym and guest lounge (providing a food & beverage offering) within the building.

In the position of Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be engaged to and responsible for:

• Supporting with our breakfast service, the honesty bar and the Grab & Go offering
• Delivering the expected levels of service and standards to our guests during your shifts
• Having the knowledge about health and safety procedures
• Maintaining the breakfast area and buffet during each service, ensuring everything looks neat and tidy so our guests can enjoy the start of their morning
• Ensure the breakfast area is kept clean and tidy whilst ensuring cleaning records are updated on a daily basis

To be successful as a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will:

• Have previous experience, which is an advantage, but an enthusiastic and eager to learn attitude is much more important
• Be flexible to work morning shifts across a 7-day rotating pattern (including weekends)
• Have an enthusiastic and service orientated approach to you work
• Demonstrate effective communication skills in written and spoken Dutch and English
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• If you have any knowledge about HACCP or Allergen, this would be an advantage
