In this masterclass, your instructor will be the proactive Brazilian chef, Manu Buffara. Raised on her parents' farm in Maringá, Manu spent her first years among animals and fields. This taught her invaluable lessons about the connection between food, nature, and love. Initially drawn to journalism, she soon realized her true calling lay in the world of gastronomy after experiencing firsthand the transformative power of food. She then decided to embark on a journey of culinary exploration, refining her skills through hands-on experience and mentorship in prestigious restaurants like Noma. In 2011, she made history with the opening of Manu Restaurant in Curitiba, becoming the first female chef in Brazil to offer a tasting menu. Manu's commitment to sustainability and quality has earned her numerous accolades, including the title of Best Female Chef in Latin America in 2022. Today, she continues to inspire change through her innovative approach to Brazilian cuisine, weaving together tradition, innovation, and a profound respect for the environment in every dish she creates.
