We are looking for an Executive Chef.

As an Executive Chinese Chef, we rely on you to

  • To Complete responsibility for directing training supervising, planning, coordinating, of all areas within the Chinese kitchen and banquet kitchenincluding any projects requested by the Hotel Manager / Resident Manager of the hotel and its board; ensuring a quality product for our guests, and secure profit margins while maintaining the Corporate image of the Company at all times.
  • Be in charge of leading the Chinese kitchen and banquet kitchento ensure operational efficiency, driving quality standards, whilst ensuring a high level of staff engagement
  • To ensure consistency and highest quality in the taste, presentation and appropriate food temperature for food served inkitchens
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth and effective communication among the staff.
  • Liaises and work closely with the Chef Steward in monitoring and ensuring that all workare properly done and according to schedule
  • Conducts regular tour of the front and back of the house to check that all equipment are in working order and standards are adhered to
  • Ensures that purchasing, receiving and all storage are efficiently handled and that the goods purchased conform to the hotel's specification.
  • Leads by example, adopting a positive attitude to keep the team spirit at its highest level
  • Maintains staffing level at approved manning guide / productivity level giving due consideration to the volume of business and service standards
  • Regularly solicits feedback from supervisors on performance of individual staff, and/or personally observes staff performance
  • Maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards.
  • Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division


We are looking for someone who

  • Has good organizational skills
  • Has 8 years and above experience in either a luxury restaurant or a international chainhotel environment
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English (and local language)
  • Detail-minded, creative and has the ability to drive and lead change
  • Always aware of latest market trends and industry updates
  • Must be a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader
