Rosewood Miramar Beach, A Rosewood Hotel, is looking for a Retail Supervisor. This role is responsible, under the supervision of the Spa Leadership Team, and will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the shop and spa retail store. The Retail Supervisor’s basic duties include greeting all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding products, and maintaining cost controls while ensuring the highest level of personalized, friendly, and outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Rosewood Miramar Beach.

• Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service following Rosewood Miramar Beach standards of excellence.

• Ensure the spa and retail team leaves guests with a lasting impression by treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and providing personalized and friendly service.

• Maintain knowledge and understanding of each product in retail and spa services.

• Help monitor the spa/boutique's monthly budget and ensure the retail areas are maintained to the highest standards.

• Achieve and exceed sales and customer service goals.

• Ensure guests always have maximum comfort.

• Resolve any guest requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

• Interact with guests, always displaying proper etiquette following Rosewood Miramar Beach standards.

• Maintain store merchandising. This implies cleaning, arranging, and, when necessary, stocking the shelves.

• Help customers find the item they desire to purchase.

• Maintain, manage, and organize merchandise on the shelves and racks in the store.

• Prepare, total, and verify billing and collect correct customer payments.

• Perform other duties as assigned for the spa and boutique.

Lead Duties & Operations:

• Assist the Spa Director and Manager with maintaining the SOP’s and Training materials.

• Work all scheduled shifts as a Boutique Sales Associate where needed.

• Monitor the achievements and processes with the daily tasks at the shop for each Spa/Boutique Sale Associate.

• Conduct monthly retail inventory, note any loss, and set par levels in Reservation Assistant.

• Place purchase orders on Birchstreet to maintain par levels.

• Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals for retail while providing weekly reports to the Spa Director.

• Monitor trends on high/low-selling items and report to the Spa Director.

• Onboard and assist in training new hires: Boutique Sales Associates and Spa Receptionists.

• In the absence of the Spa Director and Spa Manager, attend meetings as directed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Spa Director and Manager.

• Possess excellent people skills.

• Ability to be friendly and understand customers.

• Ability to cope with pressure posed by customers, handle all guest complaints, and manage Knowcross glitches.

• Ability to multitask and manage high-intensity, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work with time effectively.

• Ability to be proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

• Must be a self-motivated individual with high enthusiasm for the job.

• Must be an honest individual with integrity.

• Ability to effectively handle merchandise activities.

• Must have strong marketing skills.

• Ability to handle inventory control procedures and product stocking.

• Ability to keep up with ideas to revolutionize the image of the store and spa retail area.

• Ability and experience in handling tight deadlines.

• Ability to engage in promotion activities – store products with the aim of improving sales.

• Ability to employ persuasive skills where necessary to get customers to be interested in the company’s products.

Experience:  Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in Retail and/or Hotel/Spa.

Education: Diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent vocational training certificate. Degree in Management, Merchandising, or Fashion preferred.

The pay scale for this position is between $24.00 and $25.00/hour plus bonus. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay.
