Your Purpose

MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest cruise line brand, is experiencing unprecedented growth in the U.S. market and embarking on an ambitious Digital Transformation program to enhance operations, elevate customer experiences, and drive innovation. As part of this transformation, the Sr. Technical Analyst & Project Lead will play a critical role in shaping the future of MSC Cruises' digital channels by establishing, managing and supporting features and roadmaps that deliver measurable business value and align with the company's strategic objectives.
In this role, the Sr. Technical Analyst & Project Lead will leverage a blend of business analysis and project management expertise to drive the successful execution of digital initiatives. This includes collaborating closely with IT, digital stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, seamless integration, and optimal performance of new solutions. By delivering scalable and impactful digital capabilities, this role will directly contribute to MSC Cruises' continued growth in the U.S. market.

Your Impact

Proven experience in project delivery, capturing, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders through workshops and meetings.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain documentation of best practices and operational processes.
Skilled in collaborating with business and technical teams to create detailed, actionable requirements.
Strong background in collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources to support documentation and business decisions.
Experience collaborating with senior leadership to define and maintain strategic product roadmaps, aligning short-term and long-term goals with business objectives.
Proven ability to partner with IT and Digital stakeholders to plan and execute roadmaps aligned with business initiatives.
Experience working in agile environments with vendors, third parties, and corporate teams to support product development and enhancements.
Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding team members, offering coaching and professional development opportunities.
Strong leadership capabilities within a matrix organizational structure, fostering collaboration, alignment, and effective decision-making across diverse teams.

Your Journey so far

Proven ability to support digital transformation programs and ongoing complex IT projects.
Experience supporting, testing, and responding to support tickets, tracking and documenting production defects, and maintaining resolution histories.
Ability to identify risks in digital operations and implement proactive measures to minimize disruptions.
Skilled in identifying and driving system improvements while responding to and troubleshooting system issues promptly.
Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams on setup, integration, testing, and operational updates.

Your Essentials

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.
Solid understanding of software application terminologies, including event-driven architecture, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and CMS.
Experience defining and tracking KPIs to evaluate system performance and operational success.
Strong agile and product-centric mindset to deliver incremental value with continuous innovation.

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!

With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.

In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.

In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.

Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.

This massive project is already well under way. The Human Resources Team is not only working to recruit the best talents but is also visiting our manning agencies and hiring partners around the world to ensure that the right people and facilities are in place to prepare this ‘army’ of new crew members for their life at sea.
