You bring a strong background in pest management, with proven experience either on board a vessel or in a similar shore-side role. Your expertise in handling pest control chemicals, traps, and treatment methods is backed by relevant certifications in pest management and health safety compliance. Your journey includes:
1. Professional Experience: You have hands-on experience in pest control operations, either on cruise ships or in a similar shore-side environment, ensuring sanitation and health standards are met.
2. Industry Knowledge: You are familiar with pest control techniques, including preventive measures, extermination methods, and the use of approved chemicals and equipment.
3. Regulatory Compliance: You have a solid understanding of international sanitation regulations, including the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP), and ensure all pest control procedures align with industry standards.
4. Technical Skills: You are skilled in identifying and resolving pest issues promptly, conducting inspections, and implementing effective treatment plans.
5. Communication & Reporting: With fluency in English, you can effectively communicate with crew members and report findings, ensuring timely and appropriate action is taken.

Your Essentials

1. Relevant qualifications in pest control, environmental health, or a related field
2. Proven experience in pest management, either on board or in a similar shore-side role
3. Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, equipment, and industry regulations
4. Familiarity with international sanitation standards, such as the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP)
5. Fluency in English (oral and written) for effective communication and reporting
6. Ability to work independently and respond promptly to pest-related concerns
7. Attention to detail and a proactive mindset in maintaining a pest-free environment
