Your Purpose

MSC Cruises is seeking a Trainee to join the Finance Transformation Department. His/her main duty is to support the Program Management team in their daily activities mainly related to the global implementation of S/4 HANA (O2C, P2P, R2C and C2R) and the potential involvement in other parallel initiatives.

Your Impact

S/4 HANA implementation & other related business initiatives:
* Supports the Project Management central team in its daily duties across different project phases (solution build, test, training, go-live…) with particular focus on: test monitoring, extracting status from JIRA, target operating model (TOM) design and maintenance, and pre and post Go-live assistance.
* Builds and maintains project documentation (project plan, dashboards, procedures, communication plan, newsletters, slides etc.) and keeps the shared library updated.
* Participates and helps to prepare periodic alignments and governance meetings.
* Works closely with other finance business team members in order to track decisions taken, risks and actions. Collaborates to maintain the issue log and to perform related follow-up.
* Assists the team in the organisational and logistic tasks (meeting scheduling, room booking, attendees tracking, minutes preparation).
Finance Portal SharePoint:
* Supports finance department members by collecting feedback, proposals, changing requests and ensuring that all documents are up to date.
* Cooperates with the team in the portal Ongoing maintenance.
Team management & Control-Tower (pipe of projects/ initiatives managed by the Finance Transformation team):
* Collaborates in the weekly meeting organisation by collecting agendas and materials.
* Tracks and update the initiatives and projects (new activities, achievements…).
* Participates in internal and external team meetings.
* Maintains up-to-date the Finance Transformation control tower (planning, realization, workload, deliverables etc.).
Department budget controlling:
* Collects purchase requests and creates purchase orders in the MSC ERP system (Navision).
* Tracks the costs related to the Finance Transformation Department.
* Supports the Finance Transformation management, the controlling, and the account payable teams by performing requested analysis.

Your Journey so far

* Bachelor or Master Student in management, economics, business administration or in a related field. (Internship Agreement required).
* Previous experience with ERP software is a plus (Navision, SAP etc.).
* Project management knowledge and/or previous experience are a plus.

Your Essentials

* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* IT abilities and strong knowledge of Outlook, MSTeams, SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint).
* Soft skills (proactivity, problem solving, communication, time management/organization, motivation, curiosity).
* 6-Month Internship: School Agreement is mandatory.

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!

With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.

Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.

This massive project is already well under way.
