Your Purpose
Your Impact
* Mines assigned Major Territory for new business streams on a regular basis. Research and continually source for new revenue opportunities and methods within territory to achieve sales goals.
* Builds and establishes new Travel Agency business. Retain and manage business relationships for each travel agency and develop personalized approach to help maximize agencies' profits. Generate ideas and strategies to actively participate in travel agency growth.
* Plans, creates and implements an annual territory sales plan to achieve and maximize territory sales objectives as well as ensuring achievement of assigned goals. Reviews sales plan, accounts, promotional efforts and ROI monthly to determine success track, making adjustments to plan, when/where necessary.
* Develops a plan to remain accessible to travel partners and maintain open communication channels. Making a minimum of 25 in person Sales Calls a week.
* Manages budget within guidelines to include travel, Co-Op and all other expenses. Review spend at the end of each Month.
* Supports National Accounts marketing programs, promotions and events.
* Analyzes sales data to present monthly, quarterly business reviews with accounts and make recommendations.
* Conducts Seminars, Familiarization Cruises, Cruise events, Trade and Consumer shows, as needed; therefore must have a reliable form of transportation, and must be able to travel as required. Requires travel of approximately 60%.
* Remains current on corporate information, policies, procedures, sales and marketing programs, corporate communications and related materials.
* Performs other job related functions as assigned.
Your Journey so far
* Fluent English, oral and written skills. Any additional language is considered an advantage;
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant sales experience;
* Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to South Carolina (Greenville, Colombia) or North Carolina (Raleigh)
* Ability to build personal credibility by way of solid product knowledge, procedures, consistent follow-through and problem solving skills; and execute agreements using superior negotiation and presentation skills.
* Experience in negotiating and creating marketing plans required;
* Basic knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software.
* Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
* Business acumen - maintain knowledge of market and competitive trends.
* Effective time management skills to work independently.

MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!
With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.
In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.
In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.
Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.
This massive project is already well under way. The Human Resources Team is not only working to recruit the best talents but is also visiting our manning agencies and hiring partners around the world to ensure that the right people and facilities are in place to prepare this ‘army’ of new crew members for their life at sea.
