Job Description

The responsibility of an Aesthetic Nurse is to ensure that patients undergoing cosmetic and dermatological procedures receive exceptional care. Here are some specific duties you may wish to include in your Cosmetic Nurse job description.-

Proficient in conducting assessments per program type, reviewing patients' medical and surgical histories.
Capable of engaging professionally with guests regularly.
Skilled in practical applications such as regular BP monitoring, first aid, handling medical emergencies, and conducting CPR.
Educates patients on various aesthetic services, procedures, benefits, and contraindications.
Able to recommend appropriate aesthetic treatments and prescribe follow-up treatments and home care products.
Executes procedures like IV therapy, Hydrafacial, body sculpting, colon hydrotherapy, and other face and body aesthetic therapies, closely monitoring them till completion
Identifies undiagnosed illnesses, injuries, diseases, conditions, and determines the suitability of appliance/therapy.
Well-versed in medical conditions based on clients' symptoms.
Executes wellness services and appliance applications as required.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
To focus on soft skills expected of the profile (Interaction with the client / Appliance Bed Setting / Trolley setting for Assessment and Treatments / Application of products etc.)
Previous experience in similar role, ideally worked in a health & wellness resort but not a must.
Willingness to learn and explore new areas which might be unfamiliar.
Openness to work in a new, luxurious environment as a part of a dedicated medical and well-being team.
Exhibits good standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Should be neatly and decently dressed and adhere to the dress code assigned to a Nurse.
Exhibits responsible behavior.
Has good presence of mind to promptly handle crisis situations.
Should have efficient time management qualities for performing the execution of services within the specified time laid down for each treatment line as per the SOP.
To adhere to the tag lines as laid down for each treatment line and ensure standardization of treatment explanation to the client.
Should have effective communication skills.
Facilitates responsible behavior.
Responds effectively to service related and technical problems.
Must show genuine empathy for clients.
Should have good physical stamina.
Must be very systematic in maintaining records, booking appointments & organizing Assessment / Treatment rooms.
Should apply safe working practices.
Should build good and healthy rapport with clients and other co-employees.
To constantly upgrade oneself by attending trainings as and when planned and practically implement the training inputs.
