  • Professional appearance and conduct on the floor must be maintained at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene in line with Mandarin Oriental’s policies.
  • Adhere to Mandarin Oriental policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain flexibility with shifts at all times (as the operation requires). Commit to taking full responsibility for all fitness shifts rostered.


 

Operations

  • Ensure LQE’s are fresh and well-practiced at all times. Act as a departmental trainer as required.
  • Responsible for the setting down and instigating of all policies and objectives within the spa.
  • Dealing with dissatisfied or disgruntled guests.
  • To ensure operational flow, discuss any issues, and provide information of special attention guest and groups that may be in house.
  • Establish local relationships with the spa, fitness and wellness community to collaborate and partner within the hotel and for outside events.
  • Establish the fitness and pool membership offer as the most prestigious health and wellness membership in Macau.
  • Overseeing service and appearance. Walking spa to review spa Standards and Procedures and operational status of the Spa.
  • To supervise and conduct the safety of users and equipment of the spa and to ensure that the Health and Safety Policy and procedures are implemented and monitored in particular with relation to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Promote all paid and complimentary & paid Fitness & Wellness services / classes to guests. Produce weekly schedule and liaise with all required operating departments to ensure it’s well communicated.
  • Actively manage the day to day pool and fitness operations and ensure a personalized service is rendered to hotel, residence, member and day pass guests.
  • It is essential to keep abreast of any developments in the spa industry.
  • Frequent competitor analysis is necessary.
  • Strategic planning for assigned projects by organizing committees and following up with goals established on set timelines.
