The main focus of your job will be:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and managing banquets, meetings, weddings, and other events.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure all details are meticulously planned.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the banqueting staff, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to ensure full undeerstanding of BEOs as well as their proper implementation.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage services.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring they meet the hotel’s standards of presentation.
  • Maintain inventory and manage supplies related to banqueting operations.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Assist in budget management and cost control for banqueting operations.


 

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-end hotel or event management environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Very good knowledge of English at a communicative level; other language skills are an advantage
  • The ability to ensure all equipment is kept perfect working condition and report any deficiencies to the related department
  • The ability to respond in a hotel emergency or safety situation relating to guest/s and F&B colleagues
  • The ability to handle guest’s comments and complaints, write incident reports
