Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Provide leadership and support for catering managers, conference service managers, catering coordinators, banquet managers and assistant banquet managers. 
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Targets segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and solicits new markets with a focus on increasing business.
  • Achieve property revenue goals.
  • Closes the best opportunities for property based on market conditions and property needs.
  • Identifies and develops new market opportunities.
  • Develops and implements an effective sales plan.
  • Develop yearly budget.
  • Develop monthly forecast.
  • Executes designated sales strategies to develop and solicit specific accounts to achieve revenue goals.
  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Designs, develops, and sells creative catered events.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Develops and manages relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Manages department managers.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Lead and create a team environment which supports our Guiding Principles and Pillars.
  • Effectively communicate with the team by holding regular briefing sessions and attending all management meetings.
  • Partner with Director of Commerce and People & Culture to coach and develop team to meet the business objectives and develop colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years of Catering Leadership experience in a luxury environment
