Responsibilities:

* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure a hygienic workspace.
* Manage waste disposal and recycling in compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring that all waste is handled and disposed of properly.
* Assist in organising and storing kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring that everything is in good working condition and readily accessible.
* Conduct routine checks of the kitchen area to maintain cleanliness and order, addressing any sanitation issues promptly.
* Support the kitchen team by preparing and maintaining the cleanliness of workstations, ensuring that all surfaces are sanitised and ready for use.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Executive Chef or relevant departments promptly to prevent disruptions in kitchen operations.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
* Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the kitchen operations, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow.
* Monitor and address any issues related to cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, aiming to enhance overall kitchen efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to lift moderate weights.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
* Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
* Good level of English
