As a Bartender, I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:

• Greet guests on arrival in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible.
• Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in departments standards.
• Assist in the control of outlet operational budget, ensuring that all costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability.
• Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list, ensure designated amounts are available, and update menus or wine lists as changes occur.
• Attend regular meeting and briefing to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
• Be familiar with preparation, ingredients and presentation of all drinks offered in menus.
• Use the appropriate glassware for the different beverages.
• Ensure the prompt and efficient service of all beverages set by the resorts required standards.
• Have knowledge of guests likes and dislikes pertaining to drinks throughout their stay.
• Ensure all mis-en-place for cocktails and drinks are correctly prepared prior to service in all beverage outlets.
• Make every effort to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guest’s beverage requests throughout service.
• Ensure that your working bar areas is of exemplary clean nature.
• Ensure that you are aware and informed of all products the resort bars use for service including the bar machinery.
• Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities and operational hours.
• Recommend and promote items as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills.
• Report any maintenances faults following the required steps.
• Knowledge on menu prices and suggesting upselling when necessary.
• Ascertains guest satisfaction and ensure that all guest billing procedures are handled correctly, minimizing rebates during check out and bid guest farewell.
• Maintain and update of guest history files and disbursement of relevant information ensuring guest requests and preferences and/or food allergies are implemented whenever possible.
• Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Upsell all resort, spa, Expriences and restaurant facilities.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
• Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.
