Description of the Training:
Gain invaluable skills and knowledge in the Food and Beverage department of a world-leading luxury hotel/resort through a J-1 hospitality internship or traineeship program at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotels. During your program, you will receive training and mentorship from industry leaders in the F&B field as you rotate through different outlets on the property. This rotational program is designed to give you exposure to the international hospitality industry and give you the experience to excel in your career when you return to your home country.

Unlike most J-1 Program providers, a regional ITN representative will guide you through a streamlined registration process, thanks to ITN and ODYSSEY’s all-inclusive approach. ITN and ODYSSEY will be on hand to provide you with the very best personalized service from the time that you arrive in the United States until your departure from the United States upon completion of your program.

Description of the Location:
Baltimore is known to both visitors and locals as a unique and vibrant city. Experience the vibrant heart of the city at Inner Harbour, home to the National Aquarium, an urban beach, and a plethora of shops and seafood restaurants. Art lovers will be intrigued by the wondrous collection at the Baltimore Museum of Art, while a ballgame at the storied Oriole Park is a must-do for any sports fanatic. Diehard American and Civil Rights history aficionados cannot leave without visiting Fort McHenry – the site where the Star-Spangled Banner song was composed.

Accommodation is not provided, ITN will provide the successful candidate with an Arrival Package which includes contact information for housing.

Requirements

• Conversational English required. 
  
  
• Must be a current student of a Hospitality or Tourism post-secondary academic institution. 
  
  
• Or recent graduate (less than 12 months ago) of a Hospitality or Tourism post-secondary academic institution. 
  
  
• Or a graduate of a Hospitality or Tourism post-secondary academic institution (more than 12 months ago) with 12 months of verifiable related work experience.
  
  
• Or must have 5 years of verifiable related work experience.
