- As representative of the department, he/she is responsible for the development of rooms and
banquet sales for the hotel achieving set annual targets within the guidelines and goals set
by the Director of Sales
- He/she is responsible for maintaining an up to date database

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle set of accounts outlined by Director of Sales
- The complete profiling of these accounts to maximise their revenue with HIB
- The development of the accounts to 100 % of their business
- The continuous servicing of the accounts
- The prospecting/development of new accounts
- Responsible for keeping account management record up to date
- May be required to travel to other locations to represent the hotel on sales calls or trade
shows
- Assist in the selling of large groups, meetings or conventions as assigned by Director of
Sales
- Assist rest of the Revenue Team whenever required
- Attend weekly Business Review Meeting
- Attend daily Sales Meeting
- Achieve set room nights targets and budget of local corporate and meeting segment
- Creating a good work atmosphere
- Do his/her part to develop the team spirit
- Actively involved in hotel activities and present positive attitude
- Present for fam trips
- Keep up to date concerning 90 days rolling action plan and meet the deadlines for specific
projects assigned
- Meet deadlines Key Account Management
- Minimum of 15 potential sales calls per week. Objective: be first supplier to know of the
"next" meeting dates.
- Secure continuation of "waterproof " trace system through daily follow-up with clients
- Tracking leads from a to z
- Keep birthday program up to date and deliver presents on time

À propos de vous

-Higher education in hotel management or equivalent (Business studies, Economics).
-Two/three years experience in hotel activities or in any other sales positions
-Commercial attitude, business minded, Ambitious, Positive and pro-active attitude

-Fluent in French and English, German is an asset and any other european languages, a plus.

-Familiar with Word and Excel, Knowledge of Opera or any other hotel systems is a plus.

-Stress Resistant
-Able to work with flexible hours, sometimes weekend
-Dedicated to re-present the hotel on all occasions, attend business luncheon, cocktails
-Willing to travel
-Able to work within a team, yet independent and self motivated
-Willingness to learn and become part of the middle management of the hotel assuming some supervising tasks
-Enjoys guests contacts

-Excellent presentation
-Driving Licence
