We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Office Agent to join our team at AX The Palace, a five-star hotel located in Sliema. Responsibilities:
* Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests.
* Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming. Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available and well-maintained.
* Adhere to established protocols for reception duties to ensure consistency and efficiency in guest service and room management.
* Regularly inspect the reception area and lobby to ensure they are tidy, well-organised, and inviting for guests.
* Provide information and assistance regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions, creating a personalised and enjoyable experience for guests.
* Notify relevant departments promptly about any issues or maintenance needs related to guest rooms or reception areas.
* Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including handling guest information with confidentiality and following privacy standards.
* Respond to guest requests and concerns courteously and promptly, aiming to enhance their overall experience and satisfaction.
* Keep track of guest feedback and service performance, suggesting and implementing improvements to maintain high standards of guest service.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
* Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment would be an advantage.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
* Proficiency in using office equipment and reservations systems.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
* A friendly, professional demeanour with a focus on guest satisfaction
