POSITION OVERVIEW
Maintain a superior production of breads, sweets, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, and fresh fruit jams, chocolates and etc. for the restaurant, special events, amenities and banquets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Ensure all products are produced in a timely manner
o Accurately execute recipes and scaling for all items produced
o Responsible for the quality of breads, pastries and any prepared food coming from the pastry area
o Responsible to train pastry staff on all processes and procedures
o Maintain pastry production sheet and fallow through with assigned prep items
o Perform daily dry storage, walk-in refrigerator, and freezers inspected each of your shifts to ensure it is clean, and all pastry related items are put away properly
QUALIFICATIONS
o Must have culinary degree or equivalent experience
o Must have at least 2 years’ experience in pastry supervisory position
