A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING TEAM LEADER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Executive Head Housekeeper, you can expect your working day to include the following. 

  • Day to day management of the housekeeping team members.
  • Ensuring rooms are cleaning by housekeepers on shift to a high standard
  • Inspiring and motivating the team to achieve the best they can achieve. 
  • Checking rooms, once cleaning, to ensure they meet the high hotel standards
  • Liasing with Reception Team to discuss when guests have arrived and priortising workload.

To succeed in the role of Housekeeping Team Leader, you will need the following qualities and skills. 

  • Expericing in housekeeping
  • Experience of management and leading a team
  • Working in a medium to large sized hotel.
