International School of Cultural Tourism, Hangzhou City University, established in February 2022, is led by Professor Qiu Hanqin as its founding dean. It evolved from the Tourism Management department, which was established in 1999 at Zhejiang University City College. Guided by the “New Liberal Arts” development philosophy, the school adheres to the principles of “wisdom, sharing, and openness.” Through institutional reforms, it brings together outstanding innovative teams and deepens international collaboration. With distinctive features such as innovative digital cultural tourism, a novel talent cultivation model, a diverse faculty structure, and a comprehensive international education system, the school strives to build itself into an international cultural tourism institution with “New Liberal Arts” characteristics.
