Job Description
The Fitness Instructor at Villa Haven will be responsible for leading and instructing fitness classes, providing personal training sessions, and promoting overall wellness among our guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for health and fitness, and the ability to create engaging and effective fitness programs.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or a related field (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA).
- Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer, preferably in a luxury resort or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of fitness principles, exercise techniques, and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate guests of all fitness levels.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a remote island setting and adapt to a tropical climate.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
