Royal Caribbean Group's Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Producer reporting to the Mgr, Production.
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
Our team is looking for an individual who is passionate about all things production, a self-starter who enjoys bridging the gap between the creative and logistics behind a project. We want someone who thrives in the details, understands the importance of building relationships, organization, schedules, communication, and so much more. The Producer is responsible for facilitating and assisting production of marketing assets; video and photo, supporting the day-to-day needs of our production and content team in association with the rest of the team members. Our production teams are filled with problem solvers who enjoy the creative process and bringing the right team together to bring the vision to life. This role allows for exposure to different types of productions from big to small and all over the world. We are looking for someone ready to jump in and learn all they can.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Execute marketing production projects on ship and in destination for TV, digital video and print shoots, including management of budget, production timelines and schedules, logistics leading up to the shoot, negotiating and working with crew and vendors, coordinating casting, and moving other key elements such as wardrobe and props in order to bring the creative to life.
* Support day-to-day needs of brand and content's production and post-production work-flow which includes; production prep, ship communications, travel coorindating and booking, contract generating (via templates), post support, reviewing edits, uploading b-rolls, sizzles, international brand maketing support, and more.
* Post-producing responsibilities; manage post calendar/timelines, communicate with editors, VFX artist, and colorists to deliver quality controlled campaigns.
* Collaborate with our brand team, Sr. Producers, and Managers to ensure timelines meet campaign deadlines and allow enough time for creative execution, revisions, approvals, and finishing. Providing updates regularly on progress, ensuring delivery of exceptional work.
* Participate in bi-weekly meetings with major internal content departments to assess asset gaps to be included in upcoming projects shot list and planning.
* Be eager to continue learning, stay current in what's new in the production industry: cameras, lighting, drone equipment, editing softwares and techniques in both photo and video.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
* BA/BS degree preferred or relevant experience.
* 4-8 years of marketing and/or production experience in marketing and/or advertising.
* Requires ability to communicate effectively, active listening, adjust to new situations and changes, and strong work ethic.
* Experience with cruise industry preferred but not required
* Highly detail oriented and passionate about finding solutions
* A producer with a love for the creative process
* Desire to learn and improve with each project
* Working knowledge of mac based personal computers, e-mail, Power Point, Excel, and MS Word, PowerPoint, Monday.com or similar project management platform, and frameio.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of employees and management.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, guests, and the general public.
* Time and travel flexibility are required.
* Travel for TV, Video and Photo shoots will be required to be over weekends and extended normal working hours.
* Strong production management and communication , ability to motivate internal teams, crew, and talent in order to execute productions.
* Ability to understand creative briefs and scripts, translate it into the content that needs to be produced, while keeping projects on time and within budget.
* Exceptional relationship builder with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
* A solid understanding of production process and workflows.
