Your Purpose

As a Beauty Therapist with our cruise line, your role will be centered around providing exceptional beauty and wellness services that help our guests relax, rejuvenate, and feel their best. You will be responsible for offering a range of services, from facials and massages, ensuring each guest receives personalized care in a luxurious and tranquil setting. You will play a significant role in enhancing the overall guest experience, promoting wellness, and fostering a peaceful atmosphere aboard the ship.

Your Journey So Far

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
1. Passion for Beauty: We want someone who loves the beauty and wellness industry and is excited to help guests look and feel their best.
2. Customer Service: You should have a strong background in providing excellent customer service, making guests feel comfortable and valued during their treatments.
3. Qualifications: You need to have the right beauty therapy qualifications
4. Diverse Skills: It's important that you have experience with different beauty treatments and can adapt to the needs of our guests, making sure they have a great experience.

Your Essentials

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
1. Qualifications:
* VTCT/NVQ Level 3 qualification or an international equivalent
* At least one of the following certifications: Cidesco, CIBTAC, IHBC, BTEC, CITY AND GUILDS, ITEC, Government accredited diploma, BTS
* Caribbean nationalities must have a certificate/diploma issued by the NCTVET (government)
* Swedish Massage certificate
* Referenced Spa work experience
* Facial & Body Electrics qualification
* Waxing
* Manicure & Pedicures
2. Experience: A minimum of one year working as a Beauty Therapist in a professional setting, with a focus on facials, massages, and other beauty services.
3. Languages: Fluency in English (at least a b1 level) is essential, along with the ability to communicate in at least one additional European language.
4. Skills: Strong technical and practical skills, excellent customer service, the ability to tailor services to guests' needs, and excellent communication abilities.
5. Attributes: Professional appearance, attention to detail, a passion for delivering outstanding service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a frenetic and vibrant environment, willingness to relocate or travel for extended periods, and flexibility in your work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
