Your Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager which will be responsible for our shipboard beverage operations for all bars/lounges, outlets and crew bar areas.
As the Bar Manager, you will lead and inspire a team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests, craft cocktails and design events to engage with our guests. You'll oversee our bars and lounges, ensuring every drink served meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
With your expertise, you'll set the tone for a vibrant atmosphere that delights all our guests.

From perfecting signature cocktails to managing inventory, your leadership will resonate through every guest experience. Ensures the highest quality, delivery and storage of all bar products/items and monitors bar set up, service and presentation to ensure guest satisfaction

Your Journey So Far
We are looking for a candidate with:
1. Proven previous onboard experience as a Bar Manager
2. Experience in multinational team management and customer service excellence will also set you apart.
3. Expertise in mixology, beverage trends, and inventory control.
4. Strong communication and organizational skills to handle the dynamic demands of onboard operations.
5. Your passion for hospitality and your eye for detail ensure that every drink served is as exceptional as the service behind it.
Your Essentials
To be considered for this role, you are required to have:
1. Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of bar operations, mixology certifications, or equivalent training.
2. Experience: Prior experience as a Bar Manager onboard of cruise ship
3. Skills: Leadership, guest relations, conflict resolution, proactiveness and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
4. Commitment: Ability to succeed in a multicultural, frenetic environment while adhering to high standards of safety, sanitation, and company policies.

The company
MSC Cruises has grown exponentially since 2003. In such a short time, we have built a fleet of 22 modern and most environmentally advanced ships!
With our constant expansion, our fleet will grow in capacity with the arrival of seven new ships in three different classes by 2027.
One of our latest ships – MSC World Europa – was delivered in 2022, inaugurating the World Class. It is our largest cruise ship to date, with a capacity of over 6,700 passengers, served by more than 2,000 crew members.
In 2023 we inaugurated the MSC Euribia equipped with the best and latest environmental technology and bestowed with a highly-innovative design.
In 2023 MSC Cruises entered the Luxury segment by launching its first of four Explora Journeys ships.
Recruitment Prospects
With three new mega-ships and four Luxury ships to be built and delivered between 2023 and 2027, the biggest and most important challenge for MSC Cruises is to find, recruit and train a high number of new crew members needed to provide the service, fun and safety that have become hallmarks of MSC Cruises.
This massive project is already well under way. The Human Resources Team is not only working to recruit the best talents but is also visiting our manning agencies and hiring partners around the world to ensure that the right people and facilities are in place to prepare this ‘army’ of new crew members for their life at sea.
