Are you looking for career opportunities in Malta within an established and fast-growing construction company? AX Construction is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Foreman to oversee and manage all on-site activities and operations at construction projects.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The Construction Foreman will coordinate and supervise workers, subcontractors, and equipment, as well as monitor progress, enforce health and safety regulations, and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
Responsibilities:
* Direct, supervise and troubleshoot common issues that arise on site.
* Identify the various phases of the project and plan works accordingly, read architectural and structural plans, together with the Project Manager.
* Train the employees on site to successfully complete projects.
* Assign duties and be responsible for monitoring the progress of projects, ensure that timelines and budgets are followed.
* Ensure that employees are qualified and knowledgeable about their roles and assign them tasks according to their skillsets.
* Issue reports and progress updates when requested by the management.
* Together with the Project Manager, organise the site logistics, planning and ordering of supplies, resources, equipment and any raw material required on site; ensuring these are requested in a timely manner to be delivered on site on time.
* Ensure a good relationship with suppliers and stores/logistics department.
* Continuously check works carried out to ensure the right quality and standards are met.
* Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and the company's policies.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
* Good communication skills in English
* Ability to organise a work schedule
* Ability to manage a team of workers
* Ability to read drawings and blueprints
