Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Controller to oversee and manage the financial aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis to ensure the profitability of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and maintain cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.
2. Monitor actual costs and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
3. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
4. Collaborate with different departments to track spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
5. Participate in the budgeting process and provide insights to optimize financial performance.
6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial procedures and policies.
7. Implement strategies to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Additional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
4. Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
