Cluster Groups & Events Sales Manager
About the job
The Mission is to achieve maximum performance of the Groups & Events department by overlooking procedures followed and department standards respecting hotel guests, associates and department team members. Promote hotel services and overall guests satisfaction internal and external. To demonstrate an awareness for the most important company mission which is the guests overall experience by creating opportunities, giving feedback where is needed and reward team members. Being responsible for the information shared in hotel department regarding forecast , budget and overall department productivity.
Maintain a steady pace, in Golf groups revenue growth – finding opportunities to promote upsell and promote hotel services
Develop Weddings segment under Events and establish Dunes complex as a preferred wedding destination
In cooperation with Director of Mice Sales , focused on French MICE market by handling requests , organizing sales trips and conduct site inspections
Assume complete responsibility for learning from initial orientation and training programs conducted when joining the Groups & Events team
Prepare all typed materials (proposals, Mice contracts, Commission agreements, banquet event orders, change forms and all other inter-departmental forms) accurately and thoroughly.
Conducts site inspections for very important groups, French market potential or confirmed groups
Acts as liaison between MICE sales team and Groups & Events team, sharing important information that might affect hotel availability or operations challenges
Solicits feedback from the group organisers but also from the hotel departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the G&E guests’ experience.
Communicate necessary information during meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
Forecast group sleeping rooms and event revenue for groups.
Take initiative to use his/her experience to improve service performance according to his/her evaluation of the issue and resolution
Organize weekly roster according to operational needs and company objectives and perform all HR admin tasks (Scan,Leaves, DRs etc) accurately and in timely manner.
Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times. Provide Guidance and encourage team to do the same.
Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news. Encourage and empower team to do the same.

About you
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment, including oral and written language skills in English & Greek language; Any additional languages are an advantage.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills within office & operational management experience
Ability to multi task through daily tasks
Supervision and delegation skills are required
Excellent computer skills, word processing, spreadsheet, power point presentations, PDF, email and hotel systems such as Opera PMS , Fidelio
Ability to pay attention to details and at the same time to have an inherent thoroughness in task approach, follow up and completion within a timely manner
Excellent communication skills with internal and external guests, always focused on company goals and needs
Develop effective working relationships internally & externally
Manage crisis situations that might involve health& safety , security – follow the procedures
Identify opportunities for improvements in tasks and policie , creative and open mind thinking
Prepare forecast & budget for forthcoming months related to Banquet & Social events revenue by extracting all the information from online hotel systems
