Four Seasons Resorts Thailand is looking for Senior Director of Revenue Management who share a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. This position is based in Bangkok office and reports to Senior Director of Marketing, and taking care for 3 properties in Thailand; Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui and Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle.

The resort will obtain work authorization.

Key Functions

Interpret business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance.

  • STR market share weekly analysis.
  • TravelCLICK Demand 360 reports review for future demand opportunities vs. comp set.
  • Revfinder (BI) reports of lead time, upsell, room type utilization, direct-3rd party mix, package and promotions performance, etc.


Leverage IDeaS revenue management system.

Opportunities to leverage demand and improve revenue performance are identified and action implemented via:

Manage rates and inventory in all distribution channels. Availability and restrictions are appropriately displayed in all booking channels:

Opera, ORS, OTA, Trust, GDS, Web;

Initiate pricing analysis and recommendations.

  • Published competitive rates are evaluated daily using Rate Shopping and other competitive shopping tools.
    Competitive consumption by price point is reviewed monthly using Market intelligence report.
  • Drive Group Pipeline meeting together with Director Sales to support forecast accuracy.
  • Chair weekly Revenue Strategy meeting.
  • Co-chair the Quarterly Account Reviews with Sales Team to evaluate accounts performance and price strategy


Ownership of B2C and B2B key account relationship & ownership of local strategies in distribution channels.

Strong understanding on website & digital analytics to work together with Director PR to drive published segment revenue of the resorts.

Participate in: Annual budget and marketing plan process as well as Quarterly Owner meetings.

Team Leadership

  • As a senior director, lead the revenue & reservations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Oversee performance, and professional development. Provide guidance, oversee projects, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve revenue management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance revenue performance and operational efficiency. This involves staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in total revenue management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across different departments, including sales, marketing, finance and resort operations to align revenue optimization and pricing initiatives. This involves fostering strong relationships and effective communication to drive cross-functional alignment and revenue growth across the resorts.


PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. · 
  • Technically proficient, collaborative leader who comprehends the on-property Revenue Management function, the role of brand in delivering value to various stakeholders and the cultural nuances relative to conducting business in regional markets. 
  •  Strong Communication Skills – Clearly and accurately provides pertinent information to individuals in verbal and/or written form. Able adjust delivery based on the audience and to accurately convey information in a way that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. 
  •  Time Management – Uses time effectively and efficiently, able to get more done in less time than others while not sacrificing quality. 
  •  A high energy level, exceptional people skills and enthusiasm for the global hospitality business. · Proficiency in English language, additional languages a plus 
  •  Expert systems experience – IDeaS G3 (FS Configuration), BI Tool, OPERA (FS Configuration), STR, and TravelClick BI 
  • EDUCATION: University degree required; Marketing, Revenue Management, Hospitality, or Operations Research degree preferred
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Revenue Management. Multi property experience is preferred.
